Position: Geriatric Nursing Role Available
Pursue a dedicated nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in geriatrics. This role is based on-site, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with patients at a nursing home.
Your responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and providing essential pre-operative and post-operative care. This position requires strong technical skills in patient assessment and comfort care within an established healthcare team, ensuring high-quality nursing services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and conduct patient assessments

• Assist in surgical procedures and apply aseptic techniques

• Record and monitor therapeutic observations accurately

• Provide nutritional support and health education

• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols
Requirements:

• Provincial eligibility for practical nurse licensure

• Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination

• CPR and First Aid certification required

• Background check and immunization records needed

• Experience in geriatrics is a plus
