Support community health in Gitxsan territory as a part time Community Health Nurse. Deliver essential immunizations, TB testing, and wellness education tailored to local needs.
The First Nations Health Authority is expanding its dedicated team in Gitwangak and Gitanyow. As a Community Health Nurse, you will perform critical programs addressing STI management and chronic disease prevention. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver immunization programs effectively

• Conduct TB testing and health screenings for locals

• Provide STI management and community education

• Support prenatal and postnatal health initiatives directly

• Facilitate chronic disease management and health promotion
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifications

• Active BCCNM registration required

• At least one year of relevant nursing experience

• Basic Life Support Certification Level C mandatory

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required
