Become a Nurse Practitioner with Northern Health at the Quesnel Primary Care Clinic, delivering essential primary care to a diverse patient base. This casual position allows for flexibility while working within a collaborative healthcare team.

Your role will include patient attachment as per Provincial guidelines and meticulous use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for patient documentation. Engaging in innovative care practices, you will foster a safe and culturally competent environment while improving health outcomes across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages

• Attach patients in adherence to PAS guidelines

• Document and manage patient care through EMR

• Collaborate effectively with an interprofessional healthcare team

• Participate in quality improvement projects for community health
Requirements:

• Registration eligibility with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Experience in the primary care setting

• Strong clinical skills in assessment and decision-making

• Capability to work autonomously and as part of a team

• Passion for culturally safe and trauma-informed care
