Salary$97,833 - $122,817 (pay range explained below)

As the Nurse in Charge, you will provide leadership on a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services within a First Nations community to individuals and family groups. You will provide professional guidance and assistance to community leaders and other community health care team members in acquiring knowledge and skill. You will work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
You will focus on promoting health, preventing disease and injury, protecting population health, as well as curative, urgent and emergent care, rehabilitation, and supportive or palliative care.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP)
- Remote Certified (RNC) with BCCNM
- Successful completion of approved training in public health nursing or obstetrics, mental health, or other specialty
- Valid Class 5 Driver's license
- Understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols
- Knowledge of nursing processes
Experience in primary care, disease and injury prevention, health protection, curative, urgent and emergent care, medical/surgical, rehabilitation and supportive or palliative care.
