This role is ideal for an NP looking to provide urgent primary care to patients of all ages without the pressure of a patient panel attachment. You will work closely with patient care assistants and health professionals, focusing on same-day health concerns and utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for effective clinical documentation. Participate in collaborative care and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address urgent primary care needs for same-day patients

• Work collaboratively with care team for optimal patient outcomes

• Utilize EMRs (C-MOIS) for clinical documentation

• Engage in team-based care and quality initiatives

• Support patient continuity through referrals and follow-up

Requirements:

• Eligible for BC Nurse Practitioner registration

• Background in primary care and urgent settings

• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

• Ability to collaborate and work independently

• Commitment to trauma-informed approaches to care
