This role requires a Registered Nurse with a passion for patient-centered care at Northern Health's St. John Hospital in Vanderhoof. You will work collaboratively with the interprofessional team while practicing in accordance with BCCNM standards. Essential skills include emergency assessment, intravenous therapy, and effective communication with patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs in Emergency Department

• Provide direct nursing care for various health concerns

• Initiate and manage intravenous therapy for patients

• Communicate effectively across interprofessional teams

• Promote person-focused care with empathy and advocacy

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)

• Completion of recognized Emergency Nursing specialty program

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Ability to handle emergency situations with clinical decision-making
