We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC.

• Provide nursing care to an assigned group of patients/residents according to established policies, procedures, and the Standards of Practice for the Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia.
• Function as an independent practitioner, recognizing situations that require collaboration with an RN/RPN for additional support or clinical intervention.
• Assist patients/residents in meeting their physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs consistent with the mission, vision, values of Northern Health and established protocols.
• Participate in developing care plans, conducting assessments, implementing and evaluating interventions, documenting information, and acting as an advocate for patients/residents.
• Attend care conferences and assist with the orientation of new staff and students as required.
• Respond to and report incidents according to established procedures and perform clerical duties as needed.

• Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)
