Nurse Coordinator in Communicable Disease

We seek a compassionate Registered Nurse to coordinate our communicable disease program at Northern Health. This role emphasizes tactical planning and the continuous improvement of health services. With a minimum of two years in public health nursing, you will work alongside collaborative health teams to implement procedures and monitor standards that prioritize community well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the implementation of communicable disease programs

• Support Public Health Resource Nurses in strategic initiatives

• Develop and evaluate prevention policies for health services

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration across health sectors

• Participate in training and ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Must be registered with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Two years of relevant public health nursing experience

• Supervisory experience considered an asset

• Valid Class 5 driver's license may be needed

• Strong leadership and communication abilities
