Resource Community Health Nurse Position

Join the First Nations Health Authority as a Resource Community Health Nurse, impacting health outcomes in remote B.C. This part-time role requires expertise in public health and urgent care services.

In this vital role, you will work within the Community Health Nurse Resource Team. Your primary focus will be to deliver nursing services across program areas, including community and public health, with an emphasis on health promotion and prevention strategies. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in communities

• Implement health promotion and preventative health measures

• Provide urgent care as needed in assigned areas

• Foster relationships with community members

• Maintain accurate health records and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent training

• Active registration with BCCNM

• Remote certification with BCCNM necessary

• One year of point-of-care nursing experience

• Basic Life Support Certification required
