Compassionate Registered Nurse

Position: Compassionate Registered Nurse at Northern Health
Elevate mental health care as a Registered Nurse at Northern Health’s Legion Wing. Deliver transformative patient support and engage in innovative psychedelic-assisted therapies in this rewarding role.

As a dedicated Registered Nurse, you will practice in accordance with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives standards. Focus on person-centered care while implementing individual treatment plans to maximize community functional outcomes. Collaboration with the interprofessional care team is key to enhancing client and family quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans

• Collaborate with inter-professional mental health teams

• Conduct ongoing client assessments and interventions

• Administer psychedelic-assisted therapies as trained

• Support patients through recovery-oriented care

Requirements:

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Minimum 2 years in mental health nursing

• Advanced training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities

• Willingness to pursue additional psychedelic therapy education
