Title: Community Health Nurse – Tahltan Nursing Station
Salary: $94,724 – $114,261 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part‑time – 18.5 hours per week, we offer 2-, 3-, and 4‑week rotations
Location: Tahltan, B.C. – Nursing Station
Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)

The Role
As Community Health Nurse, you will provide a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services in remote First Nations communities in program areas of community and public health, primary care, and urgent and emergent care. This includes health promotion and disease and injury prevention for individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations.
About You- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Candidate must be certified in ACLS and PALS upon hire.
- Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support Certification Level
C. - Requires a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
- Remote Community Health Nurse must be remote certified (RNC) with BCCNM.

BC Remote CertificationFNHA Community Health Nurse, have or are working towards Remote Certification (RNC) and can live anywhere in Canada. If you are currently not Remote Certified, speak with us today on how we can help you obtain your RNC, with extensive training, travel and salary paid for while you’re pursuing your certification.
You may have experience in Community Health Nurse and Nursing.

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step
1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.
