Position: Part-Time Community Health Nurse Role
Join the First Nations Health Authority as a Community Health Nurse in Tahltan, B.C. This part-time position empowers you to provide essential services to First Nations communities while enhancing your career in nursing.

As a Community Health Nurse, you will focus on public health, primary care, and urgent care. This permanent role involves 18.5 hours per week with flexible rotations. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, up-to-date BCCNM registration, and required certifications like ACLS and PALS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer core nursing functions in remote communities

• Promote health and prevent illness across populations

• Respond to urgent health needs as required

• Work closely with diverse community groups

• Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized institution

• Active registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses

• ACLS and PALS certification mandatory

• Class 5 BC Driver’s License is necessary

• Must obtain Remote Certification with BCCNM
