Position: FNHA Community Nurse in Gitga’at
Become a Community Health Nurse with the First Nations Health Authority in Gitga’at, BC. This role is vital for providing health care services to local First Nations communities, focusing on both primary and emergency care.

As a Community Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering health promotion, public health initiatives, and after-hours emergency care. The position is part-time, permanent, and requires a collaborative spirit and understanding of cultural health practices. We strongly encourage First Nations, Inuit, and Métis applicants to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement health programs tailored for First Nations communities

• Monitor and evaluate health care services provided

• Work on emergency care protocols and procedures

• Educate patients and communities on health issues

• Maintain accurate health records and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing

• Registration with BCCNM and Remote Certification

• Valid HCP CPR certification

• Class 5 Driver's license

• Knowledge of First Nations health issues
