Position: Compassionate Registered Nurse Wanted
Join the Nechako Centre team as a compassionate Registered Nurse with Northern Health. This rewarding role focuses on delivering skilled care for patients experiencing substance use withdrawal.

As a dedicated nurse, you will integrate holistic assessment practices into personalized care for individuals facing withdrawal symptoms. You'll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, engaging directly with patients and supporting their recovery pathways. Candidates must be ready to work various shifts, contributing to a positive patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out initial clinical assessments for patients

• Develop comprehensive care interventions with collaborating teams

• Ensure effective communication with patients and their families

• Advocate for social justice and patient-centered care

• Create and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with BC College of Nurses

• Two years of mental health/substance use nursing experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams

• Knowledge of cultural and trauma-informed practices
