Position: Registered Nurse for Compassionate Patient Care
Northern Health seeks a motivated Registered Nurse dedicated to compassionate patient care, with a focus on palliative and end-of-life support. This position involves working closely with clients and families navigating challenging health circumstances.

In accordance with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives guidelines, you will practice within a patient and family-centered care model. Your primary focus will be on assessing needs, establishing goals for symptom management, and facilitating palliative care. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams will help enhance clients’ quality of life throughout their care journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care focused on symptom management

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand client needs

• Initiate interdisciplinary referrals to support comprehensive care

• Engage in goals of care and end-of-life discussions

• Advocate for a palliative care approach in nursing practice

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse licensed in British Columbia

• Experience in palliative and consultative nursing

• Leadership capability in clinical settings

• Commitment to continuous professional development

• Ability to work across various care environments
