Make a difference at the College of New Caledonia as a part-time Health Care Assistant Program Instructor in Quesnel. Lead by example in nursing education and clinical training.

CNC seeks a qualified nursing instructor with a Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma or an RN Baccalaureate degree in Nursing. Candidates must have five years of recent nursing practice, particularly in gerontological care. This position emphasizes technology integration in teaching and preparing nursing students for real-world challenges in community and complex care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach theory, lab, and clinical courses in nursing

• Integrate electronic platforms into course delivery

• Track and support student progress throughout the program

• Work collaboratively with faculty to enhance educational outcomes

• Maintain professionalism and a positive environment for learning

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma or Baccalaureate in Nursing

• Current practicing license from BCCNM

• 5-year nursing experience with gerontological focus

• Teaching experience and knowledge of adult education

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
