Northern Health is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to provide community care in Burns Lake. Drive compassionate patient support through effective collaboration and health education.

In your role as a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will utilize your RN registration to assess community clients and develop tailored care plans. You will integrate your skills in critical thinking and communication to effectively address health needs and liaise with interdisciplinary teams.

Your role will directly enhance the quality of care and overall outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client needs and implement care plans

• Facilitate communication between clients and healthcare teams

• Provide health education aligned with patient care

• Promote long-term health through client advocacy

• Collaborate with community partners for comprehensive care

Requirements:

• Active RN registration with BC College of Nurses

• Knowledge of gerontology and wound care management preferred

• Valid BC Driver’s License

• Strong skills in communication and assessment

• Capability to fulfill physical demands of the role
