Position: Technical Safety BC: Boiler Safety Officer
Join Technical Safety BC as a Boiler Safety Officer based in Prince George. This full-time role is pivotal for maintaining safety standards through inspections, compliance enforcement, and education.

Reporting to the Operations Leader, you will oversee inspections, ensuring adherence to codes and safety regulations.

Your role will empower both clients and stakeholders through educational initiatives while providing valuable insights for compliance enforcement. Participate in the development of upcoming Safety Officers through hands-on training and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough worksite audits and inspections

• Develop and deliver educational presentations on safety

• Enforce compliance and suggest disciplinary actions

• Document all safety inspections and research findings

• Provide on-the-job training for new Safety Officers

Requirements:

• Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• At least five years in a relevant power plant setting

• Preferred BC 1st Class certification

• Willing to obtain NBIC commission within a year

• Excellent communication and analytical skills
