Lead assaying efforts as a Senior Assayer at SGS's Blackwater Mine Site. Ensure timely reporting and high-quality results while managing client relationships and onsite staff.

SGS, a global leader in testing and certification, seeks a Senior Assayer to oversee sample coordination and laboratory operations. This full-time, rotating position includes managing schedules, supervising staff, and maintaining quality standards for assay results. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to meet client needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and prioritize workflow for laboratory assays

• Approve and report assay results accurately

• Mediate between clients and SGS operations

• Conduct weekly safety and performance reviews

• Ensure necessary supplies and equipment are maintained

Requirements:

• A degree in Chemistry, Geochemistry, or related field

• 5-10 years of assay experience, including supervision

• Proficiency in relevant software (Word, Excel, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
