Safety Coordinator at Centerra Gold

Elevate your career as a Senior Coordinator, Safety at Centerra Gold's Kemess Mine operations. This full-time position offers a camp-based rotation of 14 days on and 14 days off.

As a Senior Coordinator, Safety, you'll report to the Site Services Supervisor, supporting the implementation and continuous enhancement of health, safety, and security programs. Your work will ensure compliance with legislation and promote a positive safety culture across the site. This role requires collaboration with various operational departments to foster a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Health & Safety Management System improvements

• Conduct workplace inspections and hazard assessments

• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses

• Monitor health and safety performance metrics

• Coordinate health and safety orientation and training

Requirements:

• 6+ years of health and safety experience in mining or heavy industry

• Knowledge of British Columbia occupational health and safety legislation

• Experience with audits and regulatory inspections

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety
