Starting July 2026, this 5-month volunteer position is exclusively for Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents. You will leverage your social and political sciences background to compile and analyze research on the LGBTQIA+ community’s lived experiences. Collaborating with the Eastern Caribbean Alliance for Gender Equality is integral to this work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review existing research on LGBTQIA+ experiences in the Caribbean
• Compile and analyze research findings through a gender-responsive lens
• Support advocacy efforts utilizing research outcomes
• Collaborate with civil society organizations
• Participate in ongoing training and development
Requirements:
• University degree in relevant field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in gender equality initiatives
• Proficient in data analysis
• Commitment to LGBTQIA+ advocacy
• Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Utilize your research strengths to support gender equality and LGBTQIA+ rights in the Caribbean.
