Overview Reporting to the Manager, CNC Research Forest and working in close collaboration with Faculty, the Research Associate works in partnership with industry, government, and academic partners in the exploration of emerging technologies, developing innovative solutions and pursuing new research directions. The Research Associate uses their research and development experience and technical skills to carry out research projects that support the development and application of advanced and emerging technologies in remote sensing, artificial intelligence (AI), geospatial analytics and extended reality (XR).
Responsibilities Collaborate with industry, government, and academic partners to explore emerging technologies, develop innovative solutions, and pursue new research directions.
Apply research and development experience and technical skills to carry out research projects supporting the development and application of advanced and emerging technologies in remote sensing, AI, geospatial analytics and XR.
