Position: Ice Attendant Needed at YMCA BC
Join YMCA BC as an Ice Attendant, contributing to a healthy community at Elksentre Arena. Focus on guest safety, equipment support, and exemplary service while enjoying flexible part-time hours.

In this part-time, temporary position, YMCA BC is looking for Ice Attendants to work at both Elksentre and Kin 2 Arenas in Prince George. You will help maintain a safe skating environment, manage equipment rentals, and provide support to skaters. Your shifts will vary throughout the week, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all skating rules are enforced

• Assist with the rental shop and perform skate sharpening

• Provide first aid when necessary

• Offer outstanding customer service to visitors and groups

• Complete incident reports and checklists as required

Requirements:

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old

• Hold a valid Standard First Aid with CPR C certificate

• Reliable transportation is essential

• Recent Criminal Record check required

• Must provide three references as requested
