Technosub is looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join our sales force in Prince George. The Technical Sales Representative works under the supervision of the Technosub – Sales Manager. The main mandate is to promote the full range of Technosub products and ensure a growth in sales in the BC territory. The candidate will support the customer base by providing technical support as well as application analysis in pumping requests.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the representation of the Technosub product lines for the BC territory;
  • Resolve dewatering challenges and develop new business opportunities;
  • Share technical knowledge on products and ensure application analysis;
  • Maintain and develop good business relationships;
  • Provide outstanding customer service;
  • Identify new business opportunities;
  • Ensure contract management;
  • Manage and maintain accounts receivable;
  • Contribute to training and to the growth of our clients;
  • Establish the schedule and priorities in collaboration with Sales Coordinators to ensure delivery as quickly as possible;
  • Offer support to colleagues in the Prince George branch and ensure regular presence there;
  • All other related tasks.
Training And Experience
  • Three (3) to five (5) year experience in industrial sales with strong knowledge of the mining industry.
Technical Requirements
  • Hold a valid driver's license as well as a good driving record;
  • Strong skills in both spoken and written English;
  • Ability to communicate with internal customers;
  • Knowledge of the mining or industrial territory is an important asset;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Teamwork abilities and customer service oriented;
  • Developed sense of initiative and autonomy.
Work Environment
  • The candidate will frequently be required to travel throughout the territory;
  • The candidate will be responsible for representing Technosub at various Trade Shows.
