CSFS is an Indigenous health and family services leader, and culture is at the centre of everything we do. The Wellness Worker will plan and lead activities that prevent and reduce substance misuse within the assigned community.
Responsibilities- Promote and host recreational and social activities that encourage a substance‑use‑free lifestyle.
- Develop treatment plans with clients.
- Ensure an after‑care plan is in place before each client’s release date.
- Collaborate with community leadership, other service providers, and the general community on abuse prevention and intervention.
- Two‑year Social Services Diploma (preferred).
- Certification with the Indigenous Certification Board of Canada (asset).
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a related area of practice.
