Safehouse Support Worker

Part-Time
- Orientate new residents to the Safe House and services including individual counseling, support groups, life skills workshops, advocacy, case management, crisis intervention, children’s services, recreation, safety and referrals.
- Support intake, emergency case management, wrap-around, exit and aftercare processes.
- Provide ongoing advocacy, education and support for clients.
The Safe House Support Worker is responsible for providing a range of support services and activities to work toward healing and empowerment of the women and children accessing our services.

What You Will Bring ToThe Role
- Diploma in Human or Social Services, Community Services, and/or related fields; or
- Certificate plus 2 years’ experience
- Equivalent combination of education, experience and knowledge.

Wage RangeThe target hiring range for this position is $27.59 to $35.73 per hour
. Placement within the range depends on knowledge, skills, experience and other factors.
