Employment Type: Full-Time, 35 hours per week

TheOpportunity
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Mental Health Intake Worker is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Health and Wellness team. This role ensures the efficient and effective handling of referrals to mental health programs, supporting seamless access to services for clients.
Responsibilities- Process all applications through established screening and waitlist criteria in a timely manner.
- Assess referrals to ensure they meet eligibility criteria for service; follow up with referral sources for clarification or to address ineligibility.
- Maintain accurate tracking of referrals, waitlists, and caseloads.
- Contact clients to coordinate all aspects of the intake process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

What You Will Bring ToThe Role
- Minimum of a high school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of office experience in a related role, preferably in health or social services.

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $25.6707 to $33.2442 per hour. Placement within the range depends on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
