We are looking for a Temporary Manager to join our Behaviour Support Program and Independent Living Skills program! Ideally, this individual must be a team player, has leadership qualities and Class 5 Drivers License.
Sources Independent Living Skills Program & BASIC Program
The Programs provides youth in Prince George life skills, transition support and navigation. The Services are based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis. The Programs are designed to cover a wide range of services to assist individuals with strengthening and further developing identified areas within independent life skills, life transitions, and navigating through areas of life, their community, social situations a youth may require assistance with.
The Youth Care Worker and Behaviour Interventionist staff provide one-to-one intervention. This service is provided by qualified and highly trained Youth Care Workers and Behaviour Interventionists directly supervised by Board Certified Behaviour Analysts. The focus person will work with a Youth Care Worker or Behaviour Interventionist who is specifically trained to implement an individualized intervention plan to teach new communication skills, functional skills, life skills, or address any skill deficits that the focus person may have.
The Youth Care Worker or Behaviour Interventionist will also be responsible for taking data to monitor and ensure effective skill development. These one-on‑one services can take place in our Centre, in the community or in the focus person’s home. One on one intervention provided through the Life Skills program and the BASIC Program is evidence based best practice in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Reporting to: Director of Sources North
General Responsibilities:
Oversees specific aspects of the Behaviour Support Program and Independent Living Skills Program in collaboration with the Director of Sources North.
Supports staff who provide direct one-to-one assistance to youth in their homes and communities.
Helps youth develop independent living skills and supports their transition into adulthood.
Works as part of an interdisciplinary team alongside a Behaviour Consultant and Board‑Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills in a team‑based environment.
Program‑specific Responsibilities:
Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the overall quality of service delivery of the program.
Providing orientation, training, work direction, and guidance to Youth Care Workers and Behaviour Interventionists both during onboarding and throughout.
Engage in performance management and coaching.
Ensuring that clients’ physical, emotional, social, educational, and medical needs are being met and directly assists clients in enhancing quality of life and personal life goals.
Ensure that all OH&S, Policy and Procedures, Accreditation regulations, and all other relevant governing obligations are being adhered to by the program and staff team.
Reporting on program outcomes annually and actively participating in and leading in progressive quality improvement initiatives.
Monitoring and adhering to the financial budget within the program.
Oversee the continual improvement of staff through ongoing professional development and education.
Maintaining a safe work environment for both staff and service users alike, including following and monitoring all positive behavior support strategies as they apply to clients in service. This includes being confident and familiar with Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention material to guide and teach staff effectively in adhering to concepts taught.
Liaise and maintain professional relationships with parents, clients, community partners, and various other program stakeholders.
Keep organized, detailed, and confidential records on a database system using clear, professional, and objective language.
