Employment Consultant

Make a difference as an Employment Consultant at WCG in Prince George, BC. Assist clients in finding sustainable employment while achieving contract deliverables through personalized case management.
This fixed-term role involves supporting clients by conducting needs assessments, developing action plans, and managing case files using the primary information system (ICM). You'll foster relationships with clients, employers, and community organizations to facilitate job placements and maintain client engagement for optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Client Needs Assessments for individualized action plans

• Collaborate with clients to create and update action plans

• Manage assigned client case files in ICM, ensuring documentation accuracy

• Monitor client progress, verifying engagement and compliance

• Refer clients to internal and external resources as needed
Requirements:

• Experience coaching clients with complex barriers

• Knowledge of the local labor market and job search techniques

• Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
