Position: Part Time Family Support Role in BC
Support families in need as a part time Family Support Worker in Prince George with SOURCES. Engage in life skills training and therapeutic services for at-risk families.

SOURCES is looking for a detail-oriented Family Support Worker for 18 hours a week, emphasizing compassion and professionalism. A Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or a related field is required. Candidates must also have experience in therapeutic intervention, as well as a Class 5 driver's license for necessary travel to communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with MCFD staff for effective support

• Provide guidance in parenting and life skills to families

• Manage a caseload while ensuring direct service delivery

• Conduct assessments and perform outreach in family homes

• Supervise visitation for caregivers and their children

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree required

• Minimum of 1 year therapeutic intervention experience

• Must be willing to travel to remote regions

• Understanding of Child Protection protocol is an asset

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
