Position: Youth Life Skills Coach Role
Join the Prince George Native Friendship Centre as a Youth Life Skills Coach. Contribute to positive outcomes for youth as they develop essential life skills and prepare for their futures.

This full-time position within the My Way Program focuses on empowering youth aged 16-19 in their journey toward independence. You will leverage your understanding of social issues to guide them effectively while providing supervision and support.

Your role will include facilitating life skills training and coordinating resources that foster their development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and supervise youth engaged in the My Way Program

• Lead hands-on life skills training for independent living

• Assist in connecting youth to relevant community services

• Advocate for youth-centered issues throughout their transition

• Be part of the on-call crisis response team

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Services or related education

• Two years' experience in child and youth care preferred

• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence a must

• Cultural competence in working with Indigenous communities

• Life Skills Coach certification preferred
