Your primary goal will be to advocate for and navigate children and youth with complex health needs through the various service systems. This includes fostering collaborations among service providers and facilitating workshops on critical topics. A strong cultural competencies in Indigenous approaches to health is vital for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for children's health in community settings
• Connect youth with appropriate health services
• Facilitate educational workshops on wellness
• Support case management and integrated care initiatives
• Collect and maintain health data for reporting
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in health profession or related area
• Minimum of three years of experience working with First Nations communities
• Familiar with case coordination best practices
• Skilled in health and wellness planning
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools
Your role will significantly impact health outcomes for Indigenous youth in Northern BC.
