Position: CDL Driver: High-Travel Rail Flaw Detection
Sperry Rail is looking for a high-travel CDL Driver to enhance rail safety through innovative technologies. This role involves extensive travel and operating specialized rail inspection vehicles.

The CDL Driver position at Sperry Rail requires you to travel extensively across Canada, operating hi-rail trucks and assisting in rail inspections. You will be instrumental in data collection and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your contributions will help maintain Sperry's reputation as a leader in rail diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel for 3-4 months within assigned regions

• Operate rail cars and commercial vehicles safely

• Monitor and maintain vehicle compliance with DOT regulations

• Perform ground-level inspections and data analysis

• Establish clear communication with team and railroad staff

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class 5 with air brake endorsement

• Capable of meeting physical demands including lifting

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred

• Willingness to travel extensively
