Train Conductor

Position: CN Train Conductor Role

In this role, you will work closely with a 2 or 3-person crew to manage train movements and ensure operational safety. Flexibility in hours, including nights and weekends, is required. You’ll benefit from comprehensive paid training at the CN Campus while engaging in hands-on learning right from the start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all train orders to ensure operational safety

• Provide clear instructions for train movement

• Conduct inspections and relay signals properly

• Operate switches for rail route adjustments

• Communicate effectively with the Rail Traffic Control center

Requirements:

• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Pass required safety and rules exams

• Maintain a Conductors Rule Card

• Possess a valid passport for cross-border travel

• Proficient in both English and French
