JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently accepting resumes for two experienced Class 1 Switch Drivers for P.M. shifts at our Prince George, BC location. The schedule is are Tuesday–Saturday, working 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will be expected to perform the following:

Operate Class 1 vehicles for local deliveries and pickups

Safely transport goods to designated locations

Assist with loading/unloading of materials at the warehouse

Maintain accurate delivery logs and documents

Ensure all safety regulations and standards are followed

Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles / power units

Qualifications:

In order to be qualified, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

Valid Class 1 license

Minimum 1 year of local driving experience

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations

Driver's abstract must show no driving‑related criminal code convictions in the prior 36 months; no more than 2 moving violations in the prior 12 months; and no more than 3 moving violations in the prior 36 months. The date of conviction and the current date will be the date used to determine time periods

Previous warehouse experience a plus

Must be able to pass pre‑employment drug testing

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Proficient in English (both reading and writing)

A positive, team‑oriented attitude
