Vanderhoof School Bus Driver Position

Location: Vanderhoof

Support student safety in Vanderhoof as a Casual Bus Driver with School District No. 91. This role includes operating school buses and ensuring positive interactions with students and the community.

As a casual driver, you will be responsible for transporting students on scheduled routes and for extracurricular activities. Daily inspections and maintenance checks will be essential, along with effective communication with parents and school staff. Flexibility is key, as hours are not guaranteed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate school buses on regular and special routes

• Conduct daily vehicle maintenance checks

• Transport students for various school activities

• Maintain positive communication with school community

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)

• BC Class 2 driver’s license with air-brake endorsement

• Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR training

• 6 months of Class 2 vehicle experience

• Criminal Record Check (CRRP) required
