We are currently seeking motivated, hardworking individuals for our Class 1 Driver role in our Prince George, BC location.

• Operate and drive Roll Off truck & Trailer for Mine Hauls and remote locations.
• Should possess and should be quick learner and ready to work as a team
• Coordinate with Dispatch staff on a frequent basis to ensure all the necessary material and supplies are considered.
• Record cargo information, hours of service e-log, distance traveled and fuel consumption.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods.
• Communicate with dispatch on a regular basis to ensure delivery is completed
• Ensure Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections are completed in a timely manner.
• Perform manual and electronic data-entry on a frequent basis.
• Advanced coordination with dispatch regarding routes as some trips will be out of town and over night.
• Ensure the appropriate PPE is worn as all times
• May perform emergency roadside repairs.
• May transport hazardous products or dangerous goods.

• 3-5 years of driving experience is preferred
• Must possess a valid Class 1 license and submit current abstract.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills
• Must be able to successfully pass all required training, background check, and drug and alcohol testing.
• Truck driving in all types of weather conditions, including the use of chains in the winter.
