Responsibilities
- Deliver microbulk products to scheduled customers using a tandem truck, single axle truck, or tractor-trailer combination.
- Load and unload cryogenic liquids while following all required safety procedures and handling standards.
- Complete electronic trip reports, fuel tickets, and other transportation-related documentation regularly.
- Conduct site surveys at customer locations, assessing equipment conditions and identifying potential tank repairs or maintenance requirements.
- Use handheld electronic devices to process deliveries and capture customer transaction information accurately.
- Follow established operating procedures to safely and efficiently complete deliveries at customer sites.
- Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment remains safe and compliant.
- Communicate any maintenance or operational concerns identified during inspections to support vehicle reliability and safety.
- Provide flexibility for on‑call operational support rotations when required.
- Play a key role in delivering products safely, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with all transportation and safety requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
- At least 24 months of commercial driving experience, including recent experience operating equipment similar in size and type to the vehicles used in this role.
- At least 24 months of liquid hauling experience.
- Strong driving record with no major preventable vehicle incidents within the past 24 months, and ability to pass a road test demonstrating safe, defensive driving practices.
- Maintain appropriate medical fitness certification for commercial drivers and be comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Relevant industry or product knowledge is an asset, especially experience with compressed gases and safe gas‑handling practices.
- Valid Class 3 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement, and knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and WHMIS requirements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
- Comfort using technology, including onboard computer systems and smartphones to support daily transportation activities.
- Safety‑focused, dependable, and confident operating specialized equipment while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.
This is an existing position with a starting annual salary of $65,000.00.
