School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is actively seeking Casual Bus Drivers for the Burns Lake area. This role requires operating school buses for regular and extra-curricular trips, with an emphasis on communication and safety. Daily inspections and maintenance checks are essential responsibilities of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate buses on standard and special routes

• Transport students for curricular activities and events

• Carry out daily bus inspections and maintenance

• Foster communication with students, parents, and staff

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)

• Hold a valid BC Class 2 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement

• First Aid Certificate and CPR required

• Knowledge of WHMIS 2015 safety practices

• Minimum 6 months of Class 2 vehicle driving experience
