As a CDL Driver at Sperry Rail, you’ll play a crucial role in rail flaw detection while traveling extensively for 3-4 months at a time. In this field-based position, strong driving skills and compliance with DOT regulations are essential, along with the ability to work in varied weather conditions. You will support testing operations and assist with rail flaw detection data collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel extensively within assigned regions for rail inspections

• Operate hi-rail vehicles on highways and rail tracks

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Assist with data collection during rail flaw detection testing

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection equipment

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class 5 with air brake endorsement

• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred

• Strong communication skills for teamwork

• Ability to meet physical demands of role

• Pass health assessments and background checks
