Entry-Level Railway Labourer Position

REMCAN Projects is hiring Entry-Level Railway Labourers for its 2026 season in a dynamic work environment. Seize this opportunity to work in the railway industry while gaining valuable experience and training.

In this full-time role, you will join REMCAN's Track Maintenance team responsible for railway construction and emergency repairs. Candidates must be eager to travel on a rotational schedule and display strong teamwork. The position requires the ability to perform a variety of tasks while upholding the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain railway tracks and adjacent materials

• Replace and repair various track components

• Operate hand and power tools for maintenance tasks

• On-call response for track emergencies and outages

• Follow all REMCAN safety policies and guidelines

Requirements:

• Preferred minimum 1-year labour experience

• Valid Class 5 or G driver’s license needed

• eRailSafe Canada compliance system passing required

• Pre-employment medical screening needed

• First Aid or safety training is a plus
