Location: Vanderhoof
Become a Casual Bus Driver for School District No. 91 and ensure safe student transportation in the Burns Lake area. Engage with the community and perform essential maintenance checks.
This role with School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) involves casual driving duties without guaranteed hours. Operating school buses on a range of routes requires strong communication skills, a focus on safety, and adherence to maintenance protocols. Join us to make a difference in the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate buses on regular and scheduled routes
• Safely transport students for trips
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks
• Maintain positive interactions with parents and staff
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
• Valid BC Class 2 Driver's License with air brakes
• First Aid and CPR certifications
• Minimum of 6 months driving Class 2 vehicles.
