Position: Dispatcher with First Student
Drive safety and service as a Dispatcher at First Student. Oversee bus routes, support drivers, and enhance communication in a rewarding environment.

First Student seeks an experienced Dispatcher to manage bus operations and ensure on-time performance. In this role, you will coach drivers and monitors, handle scheduling complaints, and serve as a liaison with major customers. Success in this position will enhance your communication and customer service skills in a supportive team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all bus routes and scheduling operations

• Counsel drivers and monitors on best practices

• Manage heavy phone and radio traffic efficiently

• Report driver complaints to Operations Supervisor

• Provide solutions for drop-off and pick-up concerns

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience required

• High school diploma or equivalent necessary

• Basic knowledge of radio dispatch equipment

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and time constraints
