We are currently seeking 2 motivated individuals for the position of  Laborer  within our  Prince George, BC  location. This is a full time, permanent position that reports directly to the Plant Superintendent. This is a union position.

Please note – our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo pre-employment testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Picking and packaging material according to customer specifications

Loading and unloading trucks

Performing daily preventative maintenance

Ensuring quality customer service

Other various labor duties as required

Education and

Skills Required:

Grade 12 or equivalent

Able to perform some heavy lifting

Able to accommodate shift work

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Good knowledge of math and measurements

Self-motivated, results-driven

Highly safety-oriented, strong situational awareness

Strong sense of personal accountability

Shift

Hours:

Training on Days initially, may be required to work a variety of shifts including afternoons, graveyards & weekends depending on business requirements

Starting Hourly Rate: $28.37 / hour

Wage Progression:

Hours 0 - 1038: 80% of Classification

Hours 1039 - 2076: 90% of Classification

Hours 2077 - 3114: 95% of Classification

Hours over 3114: 100% of Classification ($35.46/hour)
