Drive freight overnight for Gat Leedm Logistics in Prince Rupert, using safe vehicle operation and accurate documentation on regional routes.
As a full-time Class 1 Driver, you will transport goods across Prince Rupert and surrounding areas during day and night shifts. The position emphasizes professional customer service, regulatory compliance, and reliable communication with dispatch. Knowledge of Prince Rupert port operations and regional routes is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Class 1 tractor-trailer units on scheduled routes
- Deliver freight efficiently under customer delivery requirements
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips
- Maintain logbooks, inspection reports, and freight documentation
- Report issues and coordinate maintenance when required
- Class 1 British Columbia licence in good standing
- Minimum two to three years commercial driving preferred
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and NSC standards
- Ability to work independently in varying weather
- WHMIS and TDG certification considered assets
