In this continuing position, you'll work 37.5 hours per week, directly under the Director of Finance and Manager of Payroll. Your key duties will encompass managing payroll information, verifying timesheets, reconciling payroll, and dispatching staff to meet district needs. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in handling financial data for the 2,000-student population.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and verify payroll information and timesheets
• Balance and reconcile payroll processing and deductions
• Manage accounts payable entries and vendor invoices
• Dispatch teachers-on-call and substitute childcare workers
• Prepare payroll reports and handle government inquiries
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and 2 years accounting experience
• Payroll Compliance Professional designation preferred
• Strong computer skills with payroll systems
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Discretion in handling confidential information
Support the educational mission of School District No. 52 by ensuring accurate payroll and accounts payable systems.
