Grade 4​/5 Teacher at Pineridge Elementary

Pineridge Elementary School seeks a part-time Grade 4/5 Teacher to start September 8, 2026. This temporary position is essential in fostering student achievement and integrating Aboriginal content.

This role is a leave replacement effective until June 30, 2027. Candidates must have a Bachelor of Education or equivalent and recent elementary teaching experience. Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills are necessary to ensure a collaborative learning environment while meeting the diverse needs of students in Grade 4 and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement engaging lesson plans for Grade 4/5

• Integrate Aboriginal culture and resources into teaching

• Support student achievement through collaboration with staff

• Maintain effective classroom management strategies

• Work cooperatively with parents and the school community

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification

• Certificate of qualification under the Teachers Act

• Knowledge of local Aboriginal culture and history

• Recent teaching experience in elementary education

• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
