Position: Temporary K/1 Teacher
Shape young minds at Pineridge Elementary School within School District No. 52! We are hiring a temporary full-time Kindergarten/Grade 1 teacher to inspire and educate students in our diverse community.

This position, effective from September 8th, 2026 to June 30, 2027, requires a Bachelor of Education and recent experience at the elementary level. You'll play a key role in integrating Aboriginal culture into the curriculum while working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure student success in a creative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging and inclusive K-1 lessons

• Incorporate Aboriginal content in educational activities

• Develop strong classroom management techniques

• Collaborate with staff to improve educational outcomes

• Apply technology effectively in lesson delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent certification

• Teaching certificate as per the Teachers Act

• Understanding of local Aboriginal culture and communities

• Recent relevant teaching experience at the elementary level

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
