Casual Afternoon Custodian Position

Join School District No. 52 Prince Rupert as a Casual Custodian, responsible for maintaining a clean environment in the afternoons.

This role offers flexibility with on-call hours based on facility needs.

The Custodial department seeks applicants for on-call positions that work primarily from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Ideal candidates will have experience in custodial services and a thorough understanding of hygiene standards. Your responsibilities will include performing minor maintenance tasks and reporting any unusual occurrences during shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize facilities according to work schedules

• Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed

• Report unusual incidents to the Head Custodian immediately

Requirements:

• Grade 10 or equivalent education

• Preferred Building Service Worker Course Certificate

• At least one year of experience in a custodial role

• WHMIS Certificate required

• Knowledge of WCB regulations and safe practices
