Experienced RN in OB GYN

Join our dedicated Obstetrics team as an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in OB GYN. This 12-hour day shift role focuses on delivering compassionate care to women throughout their maternity journey.

We are seeking a skilled RN to provide comprehensive nursing care in our Obstetrics/Labor and Delivery unit. You will monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assist with various delivery methods, and administer essential medications. Your expertise in high-acuity situations will be crucial as you collaborate with healthcare professionals and support families through the labor and postpartum phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic care during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases

• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and manage emergencies

• Monitor vitals and utilize electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)

• Educate patients on labor processes and newborn care

• Document all patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMRs)

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse License required

• BLS and NRP certification; ACLS preferred

• Minimum 2 years of Obstetrics experience

• Proficiency in fetal monitoring protocols

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
